Spring training may feel like it’s a long way away, but this pooch is ready to play ball.
Meet Winnie, the winner of the Nationwide Dog Dugout Sweepstakes! A Chesapeake Bay retriever who was born earlier this year, Winnie will be the new face of the Nationwide Dog Dugout in 2022.
Winnie enjoys hiking in the woods, biting at waves at the beach and unraveling the toilet paper roll. You might also catch Winnie at a local Dunkin', popped up near the driver’s seat.

Winnie and her family also won a VIP experience at their local minor league ballpark that includes four reserve-level tickets for the winner and three guests, a $50 food voucher and $100 team shop gift card, plus the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a game.
Winnie will also be illustrated for the Nationwide Dog Dugout logo, which will be featured on MiLB.com from January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2022.
Ten runners up received a $50 Petco gift card and Nationwide-branded pet item package.
